Ikuntji Artists
Ikuntji paintings are highly recognisable for their broad planes of bold colour. Inclusions of tradiitonal motifs and figures are frequently incorporated such as Molly Napaltjarri Jugadai's Napaljarri Sisters who come down daily from the Heavens to drink the morning dew from desert grasses.
Cradled between two desert mountain ranges, the Haasts Bluff region offers painters a constantly changing vista that moves through the colour spectrum throughout the day.
